I've been doing massage since early 2001 after switching from a successful career in corporate sales.  Several life coaches helped me find this incredibly satisfying profession.  Since a teenager, I've been active in spiritual pursuits which have included yoga and meditation.  Massage therapy is natural to me, and it satisfies my need to help people spiritually.

I trained locally at Vitality College of Healing Arts in Carlsbad.  In my first class I knew immediately that I was going to master this field.  There I learned many different types of massage including Deep Tissue, Reflexology, and Sports Massage. 

Since graduating I picked up three more techniques that transformed my practice:  Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Ortho-Bionomy.  With these three, I've had the privilege of being able to help thousands of people recover from very painful and restrictive physical conditions.  Often these folks had been living with pain for quite some time, and after only one or two sessions the pain completely disappeared. 

I went to India several years ago where I learned Ayurvedic massage including the Ayurvedic Head Massage which is growing in popularity.  This is a very calming treatment that produces relief from insomnia and anxiety.   "It calms the Vata", as they say in Ayurvedic lingo. 

Along the way I have discovered that I have healing gifts.  I've been told by intuitives who can "see" the deeper realms of my personality that I have seven great healing lights within me, and that my clients benefit from these healing lights with absolutely no intention on my part.  I've also been told that my clients' healing mechanisms within their personalities get activated during massage sessions with me.  I think that may be the reason why my clients feel more light, balanced and happy after their massages.
